Where I come from, avocado became popular a just a few years ago. It is promoted as a healthy food, that contains healthy fat, and since all my life I have been on some diet, I always try to find some healthy food hacks, a food that will look like something I should not eat while I am on a diet, and yet it is healthy and allowed.

I know most of you consume the avocado in a salad or prepared as a guacamole, but I prepare it as a chocolate pudding. The preparation process is all in all 10 minutes, so if you are craving for somе unhealthy sweets, here is a great substitute that will keep your chocolate cravings satisfied.

All you need for this healthy pleasure is:

  • One avocado
  • One Tablespoon cocoa powder
  • One banana
  • Two Tablespoons honey (you can put maple syrup instead)

So, you peel the avocado. It is better if it is older, because its softer and better to work with. Mash it with a fork, and add the other ingredients. That’s it. It is really that simple.

If the avocado is greener, you can do this in NutriBullet. It is really easy and also quicker. You just add all the ingredients and mix them until you get a homogeneous mixture. If this mixture is too boring for your taste, you can go crazy and add some berries or pineapple… or both :). However you choose to eat this delicious pudding, you can never go wrong.
